San Jose. Arrival and pick up by your Tour Host Tico
Luxury Adventures. Transport to Hotel in Alajuela.

Day 2: |

Breakfast in the Rancho. 9:30 AM depart for San Jose
Downtown. Tour Gold & Numismatic Museum. 12:30 PM
Lunch Downtown San Jose. Free time to shop or tour
National Museum. 3:30 board bus to return to
Alajuela. 4:30 - 6:00 PM No Host Cocktails Rancho.
6:30 PM Evening meal. |

Day 3: |

7:00 AM
Stage bags for loading at bus. 7:30 AM Breakfast in
the Rancho. 8:30 AM depart for Oso Peninsula and the
Cocorvado National Park in Carate. Beautiful drive
through the mountains to Hwy 34 on the West coast in
Puntarenas Province. Lunch, Crocodiles and Shopping
at the Crocodile Bridge.
Periodic rest stops all day. Arrive Porto Jemennez
around 3:00 PM and leave hard surface roads. From
here to Lookout Lodge you will travel over 46 Km of
dirt road through cattle ranches and rainforest and
we will make 11 wet river crossings through some of
the most beautiful and sparsely populated areas of
Costa Rica.
Arrive at Lodge at 4:00 PM. Check into rooms and
relax at the bar for No Host Cocktails with dinner
at 6:30 PM |

Day 4 thru Day 7: |
|
|
|
Breakfast at 7:30 AM in the Rancho. 8:30 AM Gold
Prospecting and Panning Carate River. You may return
to the Lodge for lunch or stay up river. 4:00 PM
return to Lodge. Relax , Clean Up or go to the
beach.
Bar is open and Dinner is served at 6:30 each day. |

morning flights must eat breakfast at airport. Stage

Note: All gold recovered from panning will be
divided equally daily amongst those that pan. All
gold nuggets must be declared but are exempt from
the the daily split and become the sole property of
the finder. Finding Gold is not guaranteed but the
probability is exceptionally high. You will be
assisted daily by an experienced Costa Rican Gold
Miners to insure the highest probability of positive
results in finding Gold. You may bring your own
equipment but are limited to pan and hand tools
only, no dredges or sluice boxes. Metal detectors are
allowed but remember space is at a premium. Pans and
hand tools may be provided on an as needed basis
with advance notice. |
